Study and Work in Germany offers legal, short-term airport job opportunities for international university students in cooperation with trusted partners in Germany.

We are currently recruiting 20 male students for airport-related positions under the Ferienjob program.

Job Description – Airport Operations

Baggage handling and sorting
Logistics and ground support services
Loading and unloading operations
General airport operational assistance
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Who Can Apply?

Male international university students
Enrolled as full-time students at a recognized university
Valid passport
Able to communicate in English
Physically fit for operational and shift-based work
Available for short-term employment (up to 90 days)
German language skills are not mandatory, but basic German is considered an advantage.

Important Information

Maximum working period: 90 calendar days per year
Working hours depend on employer; shift work may include nights or weekends

Do I need to speak with my university first?
Recommended. In many cases you need official confirmations (e.g. semester dates). Clarify early what your university provides.
What costs should I expect?
Usually: document preparation, visa fees (if applicable), travel. Accommodation may be arranged; sometimes deducted from salary. Specific conditions are set by the employer.
How long does the process take?
Several weeks to a few months – depending on documents, authority processing, and appointments. Start early!
How much is the salary?
At least the German minimum wage (14,96€), sometimes higher depending on sector/employer. Exact wage and hours are stated in the contract.
Is the work physically demanding?
Depends on the sector: from light to physically demanding (e.g. lifting, carrying). Please indicate preferences or limitations in your registration.
